Bug Description
I first tried to open up and SVG file and save it as an
EPS, but OpenOffice.org complained about it being an
unknown format (that bug seems to be reported already).
Anyway I then tried to copy the graphics from Inkscape
and paste it into OOo, but that didn't work. I tried
the other way around too and it didn't work either.

OpenOffice.org does not support import of SVG. www.openoffice. org/issues/ show_bug. cgi?id= 2497

On that basis I'm closing this as invalid.
Inkscape does not support WMF which is mostly what is used /sourceforge. net/tracker/ index.php? aid=1048795& group_id= 93438&atid= 604309
to move vector graphics around on the clipboard and probably
what OpenOffice.org is making available for pasting but there
are other bugs covering the need to be able to paste into
Inkscape.

It should be possible to workaround this by exporting files
from one application and importing into the other but for the
moment it is unfortunately more complicated than it really
should be.
