Tabbed Browsing Anyone?

Instead of opening a new instance of Inkscape for
every document open, why not implement tabbed
browsing.

Dreamweaver MX uses tabbed browsing for editing
websites and it makes it so much simpler than
older versions.

Tabbed browsing is one of those UI innovations
that "should" be present in modern day MDI
applications. I wish I was a coder so I could
implement this myself.

Tabbed interfaces seem to get suggested for just about every
project
this is not likely to get implemented unless someone volunteers
