Bug Description
I am submitting this as a feature request. Yes I know that Inkscape has never had a feature that natively exports a JPG image, and the "solution" is to export as a PNG and then use some other program to convert it to JPG or whatever. Not sure what the reason for this non-feature is, but for a modern mature graphics creation program such as Inkscape not to be able to create a jpg directly, is, frankly, bizarre. I surely am not the only individual that finds this a small but nonetheless extremely irritating inconvenience. On days where I use Inkscape it is actually a inconvenience that manifests itself dozens of times. Yes there is an extension that purports to do this (jpgexport.inx and .py) but I have never been able to get it to work. (All versions of Inkscape, but I am currently using 0.92)
