Bug Description

The context sensitive toolbar is very nice. But when
node editing, some of the buttons in Zoom and Object
bars are needed and swiching back and forth is very
annoying (just imagine that I'm single handed for a sec).

A customizable persistent toolbar would do the trick.

But tear off menus would help too.

Also, if undocked (floating) toolbars were persistent,
that would be nice too (but that should be user
configurable).

How easy would it be to implement simple Tear-off menus? Especially traversing the loo0Oong Filters and Extensions menus gets tedious quickly.. Menu-fiddle, apply, undo, repeat - not nice.
