Bug Description

Version 0.45.1 Mar 21 2007 build, English
Windows XP Home 2002 SP2

Created a document with text in Arial 8pt.
File, Save As..., chose EPS extension.
With option "Embed Fonts" and without "Convert texts to paths", error
message appears:

(Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Libary)
Runtime Error!
Program: E:\Inkscape\inkscape.exe
This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in the usual
way. Please contact the application's support team for more information

Then another error message:
Inkscape encountered an internal error and will close now.
Automatic backup of the following documents failed:
 share\screens\about.svg

Then the first error message repeats, then the program exits.

Tried to run gdb, but there was no bt output.

Tried to run gdb with the latest win32 build (0711172109), but it freezes
when I type the first character (I must be doing something wrong there).

With "Embed Fonts" unselected, or with "Convert texts to paths" selected,
no error occurs and the file is saved successfully.
