display refreshing issue with filters

Bug Description

Some issues viewable with filters.

When changing "Blend mode" in Fill Window, not only the shape color are
"merged" but also some around, drawing a kind of square the upper object
(viewbox?).

The trouble is more important when filters are applied after (see
pattached).

I think this is not a bug but a problem with SVG - mental can you please
provide more details?

I think this is not a problem with SVG. Please look at the following SVG. It displays properly in Firefox 3, but weird bounding problem defects are drawn in Inkscape.

For me, that previous image doesn't show up properly in FF 3. Actually, it doesn't seem to use the specified blending mode (multiply) at all.
