Bug Description
Draw two paths with a pen
Combine them
Use the freehand or bezier tool to connect the ends of the different
paths.
Expected: The nodes of the ends are highlighted when coming close and one
gets only one node, if one stops when highlighted.
Actual: Works with the starting node, but not the end node of the line
you're drawing to conntect the two lines.

Originator: NO
Confirmed on Gentoo Linux. The first node gets connected, the second does
not.
This is in contrast to what happens when you do the following: Draw a 'C'
shaped line using the pen. Now draw a line connecting the two endpoints of
the 'C'. Resultant path is a complete connected path as expected, with
three nodes.
