svg files containing <!ENTITY> tags aren't read properly

here's example of an SVG file that Inkscape v. 0.44.1
is having problems with:
http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/9/9b/Tupperware_Brands_Corporation
_logo.svg

in that file, the letters that are repeated in the logo
("p", "e" and "r") are handled differently than those
that appear only once. Inkscape doesn't see/recognize
the p's, e's and r's.

the more controlled ones.
