Bug Description

Using the following SVG files:
"donkey":
http://tango.freedesktop.org/static/cvs/tango-icon-theme/scalable/emotes/fa
ce-monkey.svg
"evil":
http://tango.freedesktop.org/static/cvs/tango-icon-theme/scalable/emotes/fa
ce-devil-grin.svg

I got various rendering problems, both by importing a
file into a new document or by copying the opened
object to a new document.

This screenshot shows the problems (version 0.44):

I was told on jabber to replace linear by alinear,
#linear by #alinear and the same for radial. As it did
work for the other person (Simarilius), this solutions
fails here.

Could this be a problem stemming from the original images
having the same gradient names? I've experienced such
problems when trying to put multiple icons that seem to have
been forked from a common ancestor into the one file... they
use each others gradients instead of 2 distinctly named ones
being produced:(
