Bug Description
1. Create an rectangle. Round it's corners about one
third of its sides. Give it a thick border stroke,
choose dashes. Fill it whith a pattern, opacity set to 50%.
2. Duplicate the rectangle. Move the duplicate
diagonally away from the original.
2. Choose tool »Select and Transform Objects (F1)«. In
the Tool Controls deselect/disable proportional scaling
of stroke width, corners.
3. Scale one rectangle down to about one third of its
original size or smaler (will optically result in a
circle). Adjust the pattern, i.e. doubleclick the fill
and move it. Make sure, the displacement is no multiple
of the pattern itself.
4. Use the mouse to scale the recangle up. Try to match
either the tangent of the duplicate's fill or some of
it's stroke dashes or the pattern of it's fill ...
BUG: Interactive placement nearly impossible, since the
patterns, the stroke width and the corners ARE scaled
during interaction, no matter how the tool controls are
switched. Eventually, on mouse button release, the
scaling is reset.
Annotations:
* Same misbehaviour for the gradient fills.
* The displacement of the pattern fill is not kept
relative to the object. You cannot match the patterns
when moving the rectangle.
