Bug Description
I built inkscape 0.44 from source, but when I start
it, the main window shows for half a second and then I
get an error (on terminal): "** (inkscape:3929):
WARNING **: GC Warning: Out of Memory! Returning
NIL!", and it closes. I removed ~/.inkscape/
completely before starting it.
I guess it's a libgc problem and someone suggested
going back from gc-6.7 to gc-6.6, but that did not
help.
Attached is a gdb session with a bt on both SIGABRT
that happen. I remember having had the same problem
with inkscape 0.43, excepted that it did not happen
right after start up, it happened randomly while using
it.
My system is a i686-pc-linux-gnu (no distribution).

Mental, here is another memory bug you might want to look at.
Can anyone else recreate this problem? If so, then we could justify
moving this to priority 9.
