Symbol Dialog: "Remove Symbol from current Document" has no effect (Windows, trunk)

Windows 10, Inkscape 0.92+devel 15610
- draw an object
- load Symbol Dialog
- click on the button "Add Symbol from the current document"
- note that the symbol appears in the Current Document tab
- click on the new symbol to highlight it
- click on the button "Remove Symbol from the current document"
- get a message at bottom saying "Select only one symbol in Symbol dialog to convert to group"
- sometimes the message says: "Select a symbol to extract objects from."
- in either case, nothing happens

- not reproduced on Windows 10, Inkscape 0.92.1 r15371. In this case, clicking on the "Remove Symbol" button will convert the Symbol to a Group
