Bug Description

I'm assuming that this bug affects normal offsets, as
well as the linked offsets I found it with.

Well, actually this bug is probably multiple problems
with the algorithm for offsets of paths. There are
about 3 odd behaviours I've found in moving around one
node of a 3 node curvy path.

I've attached 3 different svgs. Mostly the same, but
each one shows a different oddity in the large linked
offset. If you shrink it down, the problem bits go away.

This is still present in svn rev 19754. Leaving importance at medium as it is a geometric/visual issue.

All three test cases render as expected with Inkscape 0.91+devel r>= 14156 which enabled 'use_slow_but_correct_offset_method'.

Tested and compared with r14153 (incorrect results) and r14159 (correct results) on OS X 10.7.5.

Changed in inkscape:
milestone: none → 0.92
status: Confirmed → Triaged

JFTR: r14156 has been reverted due to bug #1507049 (regression).
