Bug Description

Using Inkscape 0.43, when I print from the command line
to an eps file, symbols and greek letters fail to be
output properly.

"inkscape --export-eps=sdfarrow.eps sdfarrow.svg"

For example, if I enter the text "SDF-1alpha" in Arial
font, it displays properly on the screen in inkscape,
with "alpha" displayed as the greek letter (Unicode
03B1). However, the eps file displays SDF-1v (no alpha).

Thanks.

I have attached my sdfarrow.svg file.

Great program.

Postscript does not support unicode. It has its own
complicated charset system. We don't have resources
currently to implement support for it. The best you can do
is to convert text to path on EPS export or print. This way
you'll get your text correct no matter what.
