No 0.43 Uninstall Option in Win32

I installed 0.43 over my 0.42.2 installation. Looking
in the Add or Remove Programs list I was suprised to
find 0.42.2 listed instead of 0.43.

I then installed 0.43 on another PC and noticed that it
seems to simply no create any uninstall option in the
Add or Remove Programs list.

So how are we supposed to uninstall 0.43 under Windows?
 (God forbid!)

On my machine I do have the "Inkscape 0.43" under the Add
or Remove Programs list.

I also the option of clicking on:
start > inkscape > uninstall

I'm running Win2k. I uninstalled 0.42 and then installed
the 0.43.

Okay, I've done some further invesigation on both my Win2K
and WinXP systems.

1) Installed Inkscape 0.43 with all default installation
options:

Entry in Add and Remove Programs List = YES!
Start Menu Shortcuts = YES!

I then uninstalled Inkscape 0.43, but noticed that the
desktop icon is not removed as part of the uninstall
process, and had to be removed manually.

2) Installed Inkscape 0.43 but unticked the Translations
installation option:

Entry in Add and Remove Programs List = NO!
Start Menu Shortcuts = NO!

Unble to uninstalled Inkscape 0.43. The unistaller
(inst.exe) is not even created in the C:\Program
Files\Inkscape directory.

I hope that helps! I do remember unticking the Translations
installation option when I first installed Inkscape 0.43 and
reported this bug. So it seems the issue is with the NSIS
script.

One other additional thing I noticed. When installing
Inkscape with the "for all users" and "Shortcuts" option
ticked, the desktop icon is created on the desktop of the
user (Administrator) who installed Inkscape, rather than the
All Users desktop as you would expect.

Confirmed, on WinXP Inkscape 0,43 is not listed in the
start/programs menu and program uninstall list.

What about a 0.43.3 micro release fixing that problem?

I installed the version 0.43 only with the additional
language file for German. No start menu entries, no
uninstall option. Installed it then with all options and
then I got start menu entries and the uninstall option.
I'm using Windows XP SP2.

Oh sh.. I found the bug.
The uninstall file was written in the option group of the
translations.
After moving out all works fine.
