Bug Description
Observed with Win7/64, Inkscape 0.92.0 r15299
Open a new Inkscape GUI and (apparently it's depending on your history)
1. press F8, the "Font-bar" says e.g.: "sans-serif" Normal 4
2. when placing the cursor somewhere, it says: Times New Roman Normal 18.75
3. when starting to type, it's typing in Arial Normal 9.99999
4. deselect text
5. Press F8 again, "Font-bar" says Times New Roman 18.75
6. when startig to type it's typing in Arial Normal 9.9999
7. deselect text
8. Press F8, select Courier New
9. when placing the cursor, "Font-bar" still says Courier New
10. when typing it's again Arial Normal 9.9999
Pretty unexpected behaviour...
Maybe a related thing:
1. Open New File
2. Type a text in Font1
3. Mark all text (e.g. by triple-click on text).
4. Choose Font2 for the text
5. Save the file
6. Look at the SVG-Source code, there is still Font1 in there
If such a file is transferred to a system which does not possess Font1 this might lead (or not?) to an error or unwanted behaviour. In any case, if there is no Font1 used in the whole document, it should not be in the source code.
