straight lines only no Bezier : how to ?

Bug Description
sometimes I got to draw a lot of straight lines (no
bezier) but if I move "too fast" (start moving before I
release mouse button) I get a Bezier.
How to convert back the Bezier segment to a straight
line ?
Is there some "magic key" to ensure I draw only straight
lines (or should I slooowwww down and watch my click)
?

To convert use the straight line button under the node
selection tool. I'd recommend slowing down though.
Requests like this are probably better served by posting to
the Inkscape-user mailing list.
