Copy paste issues when working in <100% layer opacity

Bug Description
When copying an item from a layer set to low opacity, and pasting the item, the pasted item has it's fill opacity set to low level.
For example, when working in a layer at 40% opacity, if you copy and paste an item, the pasted item will have it's fill opacity set to 40% rather than 100% as expected. Thus when viewing the layer, the item is clearly less opaque.
Running version 0.92 on XUbuntu 14.04

Reproduced on Windows XP (32-bit), Inkscape 0.92.
While I feel copy-pasting objects should not be affected by layer's opacity (or visibility, see Bug #341995), I'm not sure if it's a bug or a feature. To be investigated.
