Need Document Properties setting for non-global Preferences>Tools>Text>Text units

It would be a very useful feature to have a preference/settings option in the Document Properties metadata which provides the same functionality as the global "Edit>Preferences>Tools>Text>Text units>Text size unit type" option but for specific individual documents only (non-global).
This would allow documents to not use the global units (default is Points, pt) for font size in text toolbars and text dialogs. There's already a document specific "Default units" (File>Document Properties>Page>General) for other measurements so it would be a great idea to have a "Text units" option here.
Some users may want to use the same units for everything in an image to keep things simple but the document specific "Default units" doesn't include text so they won't be able to use a specific unit for a specific document's text without changing the global option which can be undesirable.

Please add this small improvement in the next version release (I am currently using 0.91 on Windows) to continue making Inkscape the great feature full, well designed, modern vector graphics drawing application than it is.

written after discussions with Gez on irc about the (costly) problems he experienced with the current state of keeping the font-size units as global preference hidden in a sub-section of the preferences dialog.
