Bug Description

I have assigned description and programs+OS information to reproduce a bug I have been having in the formal formatted .svg file and in a .png file attached into the .zip file. It was made with the latest Inkscape available which is Inkscape pre5 r15287 and Windows 10 x64.

Inside the file -
---------------
Part 1

To reproduce the following shape :

1) Make a path of the respective shape for each one rotated copies
with each respective path applied

2) Use the Rotate Copies

3) Do not select Fuse Path
-----------------

---------------
Part 2

To reproduce the following shape :

1) Make a path of the respective shape for each one rotated copies
with each respective path applied

2) Use the Rotate Copies

3) Activate Fuse Path
-----------------

----------------
Part 3

Expected Fuse Path results - To reproduce :
1) After you follow instruction for the above shape, you convert the object into path
2) You Break Apart
3) You apply union
4) Viola! You get the expected Fuse Path results

---------------------

Each parts applies to every form of path available in Inkscape, and they all differ. Results with Fuse path leads to broken lines, and zero nodes. The available workaround is found in Part 3.

You need to cover part of the item with the triangle (2 lines) helper path to get viewable results

In a deeper view I find your question.
Current fuse path objective is not joins the rotated shapes, is to make a pseudo kaleidoskpoe. with a shape or group, his goal is not "join" the paths but mirroring and rotating. Anyway for 0.93, thanks to your Idea I try to do your option "fuse" who is great and maybe rename fuse to his original kaleidoscope.

Added a new check to "join path" that make the bug reporter expected result and rename "fuse path" to "kaleidoscope"
