"snap to guides" crash

Bug Description

Clicking on "snap to guides" produces a crash in
sp_dtw_whatever_changed(), since us (a UnitSelector *)
is NULL (earlier assertions in unit-menu.c
[sp_unit_selector_{set,get}_unit] also fail for this
reason).

Caused by the desktop-properties abstraction work - did not take
into account that checkboxes have a unique callback from other
widgets.
