aborting dragging makes object disappear

Like, when you try moving an object inside a group but you -accidentally- had exited the group before and move the object instead, to abort the translation of the mouse-dragging you hit Esc, resulting the selected object jump back to its original position.
Sometimes, if that was a gradient filled object/filtered one/many things needs to be rendered (?) the object just disappears. Object below shows through, below the whole object or just on a part of it -bounding box renders right. Mostly.

Problem remains until you change the zoom level -simple panning the screen doesn't help the rendering.
Either zooming or moving the object, but not panning the view.

Tested on win 10 64bit Inkscape 0.92pre3 15195.
