Bug Description

I find some short-cuts assignment improperly at the current version Inkscape 0.91 on Ubuntu 16.04 TLS.
Here below is the menus of the path commend and its short-cuts assignment:
Union : Ctr++
Intersection : Ctr+*
Exclusion : Ctr+^
but none of them working, unless you change them to this ones:
Union : Ctr+Shift+
Intersection : Ctr+Shift+*
Exclusion : Ctr+Shift+^

What's your keyboard layout?
For the asterisk, I also need to press Shift, else it would be a plus sign.
Linux Mint 18 (Ubuntu 16.04 base), Inkscape 0.91, German keyboard layout (QWERTZ).

Which keyboard map are you using in Inkscape? Please check at Edit -> Preferences -> User Interface -> Keyboard Shortcuts (the name from the dropdown at the top).
When you do a search in the shortcuts list, e.g. type 'union', which shortcut type does it show in the list for union? The one with Shift?

Also note that the shortcuts should work directly if you use the numeric pad keys (in most layouts the +, -, *, etc. symbols don't need extra keys when used on the numpad).
