Problem with leading

Bug Description

Running Inkscape 0.91
Linux Mint 18

Problem occurs when I attempt to change the leading of a block of text. Sometimes I am able to click in the box to adjust the leading using the text tool, other times , when I click in the box, it seems as if I've clicked on the title bar, and I simply move the window around.

When I can click on the arrows to adjust the leading, if I click the adjust less (the "up" arrow), I can adjust the leading by 2 or 3 hundredths, but then the leading will suddenly jump to 0.00. If I click the adjust more (the "down" arrow), I can adjust the leading by 2 or 3 hundredths, but then the leading will suddenly jump to 10.00.

Mark, do you use the keyboard shortcuts (with Alt?) or the input fields in the tool bar to adjust the position of the letters? Or are you adjusting the line-height? But then the arrow keys don't make a difference.

I think what you're referring to is adjusting kerning with Alt + arrow keys. Can you confirm?

If so, did you re-assign a different key than Alt for moving windows in your desktop environment settings?

Sorry I was unclear. What I'm referring to is the spacing between lines
(I was classically trained as a graphic designer, and I always refer to
it as leading)

I do not have the Alt key re-assigned to something else.

I don't usually use the keyboard shortcuts for this task, but I do for
others.

I've included a screengrab showing where I'm having problems. Notice
that the space between lines is stuck at "10.00" The only way I can set
this to the value I want is to click in the "Spacing between letters"
box, and then <shift>+<tab> back to the "Spacing between lines box", and
then input the value I want. This is a workaround that I can use for
now, but I still would like the "Spacing between lines" to work as the
others do.

Thank you very much for your time, and feel free to contact me again if
you need any more info.

This is a bug with the number entry widget. It can occur on any number entry widget with arrows.

Right, just found that out, too :)

It works for me, though, when I hit the number input field directly, I only get the grab cursor when I click slightly left or right from such a field (using Xfce, same OS). Still happens in Inkscape 0.92 r15210 (the last version I compiled).
