Bug Description

When copying an object with a mesh gradient the object copied into a new document keeps the url reference, but the mesh definition isn't copied into defs.

Reproduced with Inkscape 0.92pre3 r15207 (on OS X 10.7.5): pasting within the same document does auto-fork (duplicate) the gradient mesh(es) referenced in the pasted object's style. In a new document, definitions of referenced mesh gradients are missing entirely.

Also affects 'Cut&Paste' within the same document: the mesh gradient definition seems auto-purged on 'Cut' and not added back by on paste.

AFAICT, unlike for linear or radial gradients, the mesh gradient definition is not included in the 'inkscape-clipboard-import' temp file which contains the clipboard content as a document (see attached example 'inkscape-clipboard-import' of a circle with radial gradient and a rect with mesh gradient).

Hello,

I spotted a bug which is also related to copy-pasting an object that has a mesh gradient on it from one layer to another layer. When doing so the pasted mesh gradient does not have the right scale/size (see attachment).

As this is really close to this thread, I hesitate to open a new bug issue, or to post it here.

The PNG attachment I just posted was corrupted, this one should be ok.
