Bug Description
After cloning a path with a marker, the selection of the original path results in in 100 % CPU utilization and freezes Inkscape until you deselect it again. So accessing or changing the properties of the original path like “Stroke style“ is impossible.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Open a new empty document.
2. Draw a straight line with two nodes.
3. Apply any marker to the path (e. g. arrow as end marker).
4. Clone the path (Alt+D or Edit -> Clone -> Creat Clone).
5. Select the original path and try to change any property.
OS: kubuntu 16.04
Inkscape 0.91 r13725
Disabling the option ”Color stock markers the same color as object“ prevents this behavior. So this might have something to do with bug #1506026.
Also reproduced with a fresh Inkscape installation of latest stable version on Windows 7.
