I encountered this error, and subsequent crash.
No steps to reproduce. I'll describe what lead to this.
* Opened Inkscape 0.91, started designing,
* I left Inkscape open for 7 days, idling in the background. I put my PC to standby at least 8 times during this period. I may have accidentally alt-tabbed to focus it, and then focusing another application immediately,
* When I was ready to continue designing, I (accidentally) dragged the then current selection, and immediately did undo,
* I selected other objects, and just before I started dragging it the error dialog popped up.
Notes:
I use the 32-bit portable version on Windows 10 x64
I never saved the design; I can only guess that EMF is used for internal backups / temp files.
Looking at the open handles, there are 5 threads, 9 open file handles in c:\windows, NO file handles pointing to my profile temp (see attachment) |
