Bug Description

When tweaking nodes 0.91 crashes. Happened now two times this morning at intervals of roughly 15 - 20 min.

It happens for no apparent reason, except that in both cases I was tweaking nodes / curve handles.

On a side note: I wanted to set autosave time to a lower interval but I can't find that setting again.

I addition to this: I have the impression that Inkscape has some how a structural problem. I experience so many glitches, functionalities degrading etc. I am aware that the mapping problem I reported lately is not Inkscape related but that is only one issue of the many I experience. I have not yet reported all. Sometimes "in the heat of the battle" I just decide to restart Inkscape and continue working. In comparison: I also work with GIMP and Blender. Gimp has a few minor issues here and there, but I don't recall the last time it crashed on me. Blender... the last time it crashed on me.... years ago I think. Inkscape: every single time I work with it, it has issues (I am not exagerating!). Be it degrading functionalities, like in the layer menu or selecting File A from windows task bar and File B popping up etc., to full crashes in this report.

Don't get me wrong. I fully realise you guys support Inkscape voluntarily and I appreciate that and the program in general very much. So I don't want to leave a negative impression. However, all this leads me to believe that there are other underlying issues like the overall architecture or something like that.

@ jazzynico: thanks, found it!

@ Mc:
bug 1467103: I doubt it, since I did not try to paste an image
bug 1483960: Could be. I did some Ctrl/Mouse wheel zooming. Although the crash happened when tweaking the nodes. And the Left Ctrl Mousewheel showed strange behavior in these sessions. Sometimes it did not zoom anymore, but moves the canvas up and down. Using Right Ctrl and mouse wheel restores the intended behavior but only for one zooming action. After that its starts moving up and down again. But then, this happens rather frequently.

Can you try a devel version ( available on http://download.tuxfamily.org/inkscape/win64/ , preferably r14950) to see if you can reproduce the bug ?

Hi MC,

I opened the file with r14950 tweaked nodes and handles with extreme zoom again and again as I did before for a good 15 min. It remained stable
