Bug Description

I installed inkscape 0.91 on Windows 7 x64 since I thought it would be useful to add diagram arrows and numbers to some screenshots I am editing. However once I group the arrow and number ctrl+d and drag the text and arrow get messed up.

So if I create the arrow and text and group them.

ctrl+d and move the duplicate all appears fine.

ctrl+d again and move the duplicate.... now the arrow from the first duplicate is on top of the original arrow (and the object size has change for the first duplicate). the 2nd duplicate's arrow is where I would expect it.

This seems similar to https://bugs.launchpad.net/inkscape/+bug/684324
However once I started typing out the symptoms it seems slightly different than this to me.

Reproduced with Inkscape 0.91 r13725 and Inkscape 0.92.0 r15299 on OS X 10.7.5.

The lines with the arrow are connector lines which don't connect to objects. Convert the connectors to regular paths [1], and the reported issue no longer reproduces.

Unless the special connector features are needed, regular lines/paths are better drawn with the pen or pencil tool (the pencil tool is faster for straight lines with just two nodes).

[1] Available since 0.91 (see bug #257223)
