Change request: set layer name on loose focus

When I change a layer name and then select a different layer, the layer name is set to the new entry.

However, when I change a name and then select an object in the drawing the new entry is lost and the old name reappears.

From what I remember from working in Access databases there was a function something like "loose focus" which could induce an action.

Preferably (imho) the name should be set when the focus is shifted to something else

Of course the normal procedure is to hit enter, but every now and then I shift quickly back to the drawing discovering a bit later an old name in the layer list which I am sure had changed :)
