problem with percentage values

Inkscape seems to incorrectly render the rectangle due to the X and Y values

<rect id="background-rect" x="0%" y="0%" width="100%" height="100%" fill="#aaaaaa"/>

But will render this correctly.

Linux Mint 17.3. Inkscape 0.91.0+devel+14640+61.

It would be nice if the build version number appeared in the Help > About Inkscape dialog rather than it just showing 'Inkscape 0.91+devel r', so i wouldnt have to open up my package manager to find out the build number. I previously was on the stable PPA and the version number for it was '0.91.0+47'
