Bug Description

I make a symbol of 3 objects (2 lines (cross) inside a circle. Lamp in electric drawing.)
Select them.
Group them. ctrl+G
Copy group. ctrl+C
Paste group the first time. ctrl+V and everything is alright.
When I paste the group the second time, the first pasted group split up so that the ring stay in place and the cross moves to upper left corner of the paper.
If I paste a third time the second paste will act as the first.

I use Inkscape 0.91 with Windows XP 32bit and Windows 7 64bit
and Inkscape 0.48 with Ubuntu 12.04 64bit

Thanks for taking the time to file a report!

It seems the bug is due to the use of connectors instead of "normal" paths for the cross sign. Removing the following lines from the original group solves the issue:

  inkscape:connector-curvature="3"
  inkscape:connector-type="polyline"

I'm closing the report Invalid (straight lines should be drawn with the pen or pencil tool, not the connector tool).

Changed in inkscape:
status: Confirmed → Invalid

For your convenience, attaching a fixed version of the symbol.
