Files created in Inkscape 0.48 do not open in 0.91

Many files that I created in Inkscape 0.48.5 now do not open in 0.91; there is no visible evidence that 0.91 even launches, and it doesn't show up in task manager, so no error message is returned. Files created in 0.91 can still be opened in 0.91, and likewise files created in 0.48 can be opened in 0.48.
One such file is attached.

Not reproduced with Inkscape 0.91 r13725 and 0.91+devel r14610 on OS X 10.7.5 (file opens just fine in Inkscape 0.91).

Not reproduced on OS X 10.7.5 with Inkscape 0.91 r13725 and 0.91+devel r14610 using the user's provided Inkscape preferences file: the test case opens and renders (AFAICT) as expected.

Which installer did you use for Inkscape 0.91: 32bit or 64bit?

If the 64bit installer was used for Inskcape 0.91, the crash is likely due to the same underlying issue as already tracked in:

I'm 95% sure I would have used the 64-bit installer. That said, there is an Inkscale directory in both Program Files and Program Files (x86).
Is there a way to verify which installer I used?

~suv, it sounds like this (#7) may be the problem.
I opened the file with Inkscape 0.48 and deleted the .jpg image. With the jpg gone, the file opens in 0.91.
