bitmap font generator

Adding bitmap font generator to Inkscape.

Or is there an add-on already for this?

What would it even do? Create bitmap fonts? That seems quite outside the scope of Inkscape, but an extension could probably do it.

Full Decent, you accidentally reported this for the wrong project - this is the bug tracker for the Inkscape website.

<opinion>
I do wonder though why this would be a relevant feature for a vector graphics editor like Inkscape (which itself does not support using bitmap fonts for rendering text on-canvas, nor has support to create (aka export to) vector-based font formats (apart from deprecated SVG fonts embedded in SVG files).
