Bug Description
Hello
On Inkscape 0.91:
- I go to pencil tool (or pen tool)
- I choose "triangle in", or "triangle out"
- I draw a line from left(beginning) to right (end) (a open path)
- A path is created with power stroke:
- No matter if I choose "triangle in" or "triangle out", my path is wide at the left and peak at the right
- When using LPE panel: the pink node of Power stroke in both cases is at the beginning of the path
This happens with Inkscape 0.91r on Linux Ubuntu 15.04. I installed from a PPA.
Additional info:
Discussing from that issue in forum, other user noticed that when first time using Inkscape, the tool was behaving as expected: with triangle in the peak of stroke is at the end, with triangle out the peak of the stroke is at the start. But after trying it later, the peak of the stroke for both shapes is at the end.
Greetings

Reproduced with Inkscape 0.91 r13725 on OS X 10.7.5.
Based on tests with archived trunk builds: /bazaar. launchpad. net/~inkscape. dev/inkscape/ trunk/revision/ 13752
- reproduced with 0.91+devel rev <= 13751,
- not reproduced with 0.91+devel 13752 <= rev <= 14224;
the issue was fixed in rev 13752:

Note that after the latest major 2geom update in r14226 and a minor update afterwards (r14248 to fix a crash, see also bug #1473317), a short line created in current trunk with 'Triangle Out' may be rendered degenerated - this is a different issue though and needs to be tracked separately (if not already reported or covered by an existing report about powerstroke).
