Oops... Looking into it now. The patch isn't ideal, because it adds the GTKMM compiler flags to CPPFLAGS (i.e., applies to both C++ and C builds), so it would restore the C compiler warnings that I've tried to suppress. I suspect I've made a typo somewhere in my original commit.
