Bug Description
When typing text, ctrl-I and ctrl-B can only be used on selected text to toggle its italics and bold status. However, when typing text it is convenient to use ctrl-I and ctrl-B to *switch* the italics and bold status, so that, for instance one can type "an [ctrl-I]example" to obtain "an" in normal style and "example" in italics. However, this does not seem to work in Inkscape.
