Bug Description

Hi there. First of all I want to thank a lot this amazing team and crew that made -- and make -- this amazing software possible. Thank you! I love it.

Just noticed that to do SVG animations in the browser, using CSS, inkscape is a possible choice. The only thing is... If I save my draw using inkscape using the option "Save Optimized SVG" it works but when I click the save (not save as, just the save icon) button the program chages my optimized SVG to Inkscape SVG and this ruins all the gig.

The reason is that to manipulate SVG inside the browser using CSS selectors we need to be able to add classes to the SVG document and the only way this is possible is using Optimized because it separates all the svg text correctly with all the ="" and not using spaces. I hope I could be clear. Thank you a lot!

Or, maybe, a preference to set the default SVG format (Optimized, Inkscape, plain, compressed or not)?

Hi jazzynico, yes. That option would definitely work as well. Thanks.
