Bug Description
Replicate
1. Right-click on a green object in the attached graphic
2. Select Select Same > Fill Color
3. Right-click on the same green object
4. Select Move to layer
5. Click Move (doesn't matter if you select the default layer or not)
Expected Results
The objects are moved to the new layer instantly.
Actual Results
It takes a while.
Additional Details
It looks like Inkscape redraws (refreshes) each object after moving it to the new layer. The software should only redraw once all objects have been moved. Performing two batch operations (move, then refresh) as opposed to dozens of refresh operations should significantly increase the performance.
