Cario PNG won't save a image correctly

Bug Description
I'm trying to save a image in a cario png format but it wont save properly and won't keep the edits after I am done. I'm working on this on windows 8.1 and in the current version of inkscape. The attached image contains what it looks like and it is completely off from what I want it to save as.

Please attach the original Inkscape SVG file and the file saved as 'Cairo PNG' to the bug report to allow further investigation of the reported issue
Limitations of the file format 'Cairo PNG' are known (mentioned in the manual and e.g. reported earlier in bug #669267, bug #1282909, bug #1374970). Use 'menu 'File > Export PNG image' for optimal rasterization to PNG.
