Previous files from .48 with imported pdf distorted after upgrade to .91

I have files created with .48 with that have imported pdf images. After upgrading to .91 those images are distorted. I can reimport the pdf directly into the .91 version and it is fine.

Bottom line...I have many files that I use as templates that will not be backward compatible.

I have portable versions of both .48 and .91 running on my windows 7 64 bit and can confirm I do not have corrupt files as the files show up fine in .48 but are distorted when opened in .91.

Please add information about which installer was used for Inkscape 0.91 (32bit|64bit, exe|msi|7z|paf.exe) to the bug description.

To allow further investigation of the reported issue, please attach an example of an affected SVG file (original SVG file as created with Inkscape0.48) to the bug report.

Likely the same issue about missing 'preserveAspectRatio' on bitmap images embedded (via PDF import) as reported earlier in bug #1417277 and bug #1420679.

I am using .paf installation for both versions using the portableapps launcher platform. I have read the other linked bug reports and have tried installing.copying the extensions to the extension folder but they are not appearing in the dropdown menu. I am going to uninstall and reinstall .91 and try again as I think you have hit the nail on the head on the image issue. Right now on .91 the image appears as slices that are compressed in height.

Would it make any difference that I am installing the extensions on a .paf/portable version that I cannot see them once inkscape is restarted?

I have reinstalled .91 and added the aspect ratio extensions you have uploaded and it worked in restoring/updating the image!!!!
