Bug Description

In the input devices I get a "CorePointer" as my only input device, so I see no pressure. Not sure if this is also present in Win8 or unique to the tech preview, i'll try to get a hold of a SP3 that is running Win8 still :)

0.91pre4 64bit on Win10 Tech Preview 2 (January 2015 release)...

Of course, I understand I'm running a non-supported build of Windows, so I'm happy to get the answer that this works fine on Windows 8 and MSFT should fix Win10 before it releases. :)

Thanks!

Hi, just wanted to add that this also is an issue on Windows 10 (non-tech preview).

I also only get "Core Pointer" showing up when I use my Surface Pen in Windows 10 64 bit, Inkscape 64 bit 0.91. (technically I have a Surface Book Pro but I don't think that matters)

I might want to broaden this bug report though because although at a very rudimentary level the pen does "draw" in inkscape it isn't actually what I would call "pen support". The drawing comes out rough and jumpy and the lines skip and get interrupted.

I would love to get true support for Surface Pen as an actual non-core-pointer Input Device - so that we could get real drawing and real pressure sensitivity.

(The pen's pressure sensitivity and drawing works on AI on this same computer, but AI is unusable to me and anti-user-friendly)

Thanks
