Print on A3 paper fails miserably

Bug Description

System is Ubuntu 14.04 and I have an SVG that is correctly identified as having the size 456,9 mm x 746,5 mm in the "Page Setup" tab in the Print dialog. However in this tab I can't select the "Paper size" as that menu option is greyed out and set to "custom". Also the "Orientation" menu is greyed out and hardcoded to "Landscape".

Paper source is by default set to "Auto Select" and the printer selects A4 paper when I press the Print button. The printed paper contains the top left corner of the drawing.

If I select the Tray containing A3 paper (in my case it is Tray 5), the printer complains that the Tray does not contain A4 paper and when I force the printer to use Tray 5 anyway it prints as if the paper was A4 and thus I can only see the top left corner.

What I expect is that the image is printed on A3 and that it is automaically scaled to fit the A3 paper.

If I export the SVG as PDF and then print using the Ubuntu default PDF viewer I can select A3 paper in the printer dialog ("Page Setup" tab) and it gets correctly printed as expected (scaled to fit A3). The "Orientation" meny is _not_ greyed out in this case.
