Bug Description

Inkscape 0.91pre4
Mac OSX 10.10.1

Open Inkscape
File > Import
Select attached file and use default import settings.
Results in the following error and crash:

"Inkscape encountered an internal error and will close now."

Yes, looks like it's the same as already tracked in bug #1398521. Bug #1410793 tracks another variation of what likely has the same underlying cause.
