Bug Description

It's impossible to edit a latex formula previously added with defaut latex extension. It's an important lack. Textext optionnal extension (http://pav.iki.fi/software/textext/) have this feature.

The Textext author write to me: "I'm not currently planning to do further work on Textext, as the present version is good enough for my own needs. It's open-source, so you're of course welcome to fork the project and continue the…"

There is no new features or corrections in this extension since 2008 and that's quite difficult to install it under windows (work well under GNU/Linux).

Why can't we include textext features in default latex extension? Or make textext as defaut?

We can't do that with the current inx descriptor format, but would need to write custom gui code - which brings uns back to TexText.

The TexText extension is working with current Inkscape versions (https://github.com/textext/textext) and is actively maintained.
