Bug Description
I'm using Windows 7 and version 0.48 of inkscape.
My feature request is: can the file open/save dialogue be changed to allow me to copy and paste a path instead of only being able to navigate there by hand.
I'd find it a lot easier and less frustrating to be able to quickly copy in a path I knew or already had open, rather than having to go through a long list of folders to get to where I want to be.
Thanks!

Note that the left-most icon in the top row of the GTK FIleChooser dialog [1] opens an input entry just below where the user can type (or copy&paste) a path if preferred (it also supports autocompletion).
