Bug Description
Insert text with text tool
Switch to Select and Transform tool
Select the text (if it is not by default)
Select a color for the text stroke (right click on the color swatches select "Set Stroke")
Click text with Transform tool until skew handles show
Skew text horizontally
Print
Expected behavior:
The print should look like the UI with fill and stroke skewed the same way.
Result:
The printer prints the fill rotated each letter it's own center and the outline skewed (as the fill should print).
My printer is a HP LaserJet Pro 200 color MFP 276nw
I am running Inkscape 0.48.5 r10040 on Windows7 on a Gigabyte BXi7H-4500.
The attached image also shows that text above an image prints as expected! [check the top of the letters "mp" of the Monotype Corsiva "Champagne"
A workaround is of course to convert text to paths but I feel Inkscape should print what it shows in the UI or pull up a warning that modified TrueType might not print as expected.
