Bug Description
A single backspace in unshown flowtext deletes all unshown text.
Two easy ways to reproduce this:
1) Create a text frame with the Text Tool (not too big)
2) Type in the frame with text until it turns red
3) Keep typing (type an extra few words)
4) Hit Backspace once
Alternatively:
1) Create a text frame with the Text Tool
2) Run the Lorem Ipsum extension
3) Resize the frame to be much smaller
4) Hit Backspace once
The one backspace will delete all unshown text.
Note: I'm filing this report on behalf of a user and I am the one confirming it with builds from 0.48.5 through Trunk r13731.
I suspect that this is what originally happened to the reporter of bug #349602 (the actual trigger - typing a backspace at the end of the visible portion of the truncated flowed text - might have gone unnoticed). Since bug #349602 now tracks a different aspect of overflowing (truncated) flowed text, I am not proposing to link the two reports as duplicates.
Reproduced with Inkscape 0.47 as well (on OS X 10.7.5).
