Bug Description
Workstation:
OS: Kubuntu 14.04
System: Intel Core i7-4770k, 32GB RAM
Inkscape Kubuntu 14.04 stock packages
Storage:
OS: Ubuntu server 14.04
System: Intel Xeon E3 1240L, 16GB RAM, storage is running ZFS
Connection:
NFSv4 over gigabit LAN, Ubuntu/Kubuntu 14.04 stock packages
Yesterday I created a fairly large (14.2MB) SVG with inkscape and saved it via NFS on my storage array.
Today when I tried to open it directly, inkscape says "Failed to open...". On the console, I see this:
--
sgofferj@
Entity: line 166345: parser error : AttValue length too long
s1VLbGq+
Entity: line 166345: parser error : Memory allocation failed
s1VLbGq+

(inkscape:4551): Gtk-WARNING **: Theme file for default has no directories

When I copy the same file to the local hdd, inkscape opens it without problems.
Other (smaller) files from the storage, inkscape also opens just fine.

@sgofferj - Is your file saved as compressed SVG (.svgz)?
