Dockable sidebar configuration is not saved

When opening Inkscape 0.48.5 r10040 (in Windows 8) I open dockable sidebars: Levels, Fill and Stroke, Align and Distribute. After closing Inkskape and opening it again the sidebars disappear. It's so annoying to do the same stupid things while opening every drawing. Could be so great if Inkskape just save and restore its interface configuration.

Tried so much to find a workaround -- all in vain :( Would appreciate any suggestions.

The next major release (0.91) will have a option to restore the dialogs from last session.
